In Memoriam

BACKMAN (JOLLIMORE) Kathryn

In memory of Kathryn Backman ( Jollimore) A year has passed. Only moments ago your hand graced my face. I know you are with us, and that is awesome! So fortunate to have had you as a mother. Never have you wavered from the gracious lady that you are. A childhood neighbour of Herring Cove and later a fellow member of the Halifax Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Edith Young, said to me that you were a "Real Lady" and your mother, Lillian Canning "was one too." You made it to 90 years of age, just as you predicted. A nice time was had at Parkstone with family around to celebrate. You danced to the music and the cake was truly to die for. So happy to feel your peace. From deep within, thank you Mom.

Lovingly signed, Timothy James

They say there is a reason, They say that time will heal; But neither time nor reason will change the way we feel.

For no one knows the heartache that lies behind our smiles.

No one knows how many times we have broken down and cried.

We want to tell you something so there won’t be any doubts, You’re so wonderful to think of but so hard to live without.

Always loved and remembered by children, Edna, Susan ( Jimmy), Brenda (George), Jerry (Lea), Darrin, Richard (Angela) andwilliam; grandchildren, Patrick, Jamie, Kayla (Todd), Tara, Vincent, Chad, Jeffery, Joshua, Hannah and great-grandson, Austin.

CHIPMAN

In loving memory of mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Catherine Alice Chipman, who passed away December 16th, 2000. It isn’t what we write, It isn’t what we say, It’s how we feel deep inside, As we think of you today.

Lovingly remembered by husband, Jim, children, Cathy, Carolyn, Jim, Susan, Sandra, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

GARNIER/REID

Mom, Dad, Keith and Wendell Merry Christmas 2020 Hi folks, it is that time of the year once again. We are happy you are all together and that Wendell is with you. We wish he could have stayed with us a little bit longer but I guess like Keith, he was called by the Man upstairs. Know that we love you all so very much and missing you is still part of our lives, especially this time of the year. They say that time heals all wounds, it’s true but there are still times when the memories bring it all back. Well folks, you take care and we will be thinking about you all on Christmas Day and watching for those four brightest stars in the sky on Christmas Eve, knowing it’s you smiling down on us and wishing us all a Merry Christmas. Love you all lots. Shirley, Phylis, Barbara, Sonny and families. XXX
