Born on November 3, 1931 in Windsor, to the late Morris and Frances (Swinamer) Harvey. Beloved wife of Laurence; mother of John (Barb), Heather Macintosh (Dan Berlemont), and Beth (Mary) Cox

Steeves. Nanny to Jenna Cox, Jillian Cox, Brittney Bonin-cox, Sarah Bonin-cox, Chelsea Macintosh, Ashley Macintosh, Sarah Pask, and Andrew Steeves; greatgrandmother to Brooke, Mackenzie, Oakley, Weston, Ethan, Beau and Austin; sister to Phyllis Grant; and sister-in-law to Betty Harvey. Predeceased by brothers, Perley, Arnold, and Fred; sister, Gladys; and brothers-in-law, Lloyd Stuckey, John Macdonald, and Bernard Grant. Mum met the love of her life, Laurence, on July 1, 1950; they married July 9, 1953. They built their lives, family and love story over their 70 years together. Mum was a huge fan sitting in the grandstands at horse shows across Nova Scotia. She was often heard cheering her children and friends to victory. She enjoyed the competitions and the comradery with friends for many years. Mum and Dad enjoyed travelling together in their motor home. Their adventures took them as far West as Winnipeg, Man., and as far south as Florida, USA, with stops at many destinations along the way. They spent many fun-filled winters in Florida with friends old and new. Being die- hard Bluegrass fans, Mum and Dad attended festivals across the Maritime Provinces and North Eastern United States. They often hosted "Sunday morning big breakfast with floats". Friendships made through these festivals have been many and ever-lasting. Our thanks to management and staff at Dykeland Lodge for Mum’s care over the past few years. Mum was a member of St. James United Church, Hantsport.
