It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel "Brenton" Page, 87, of Spryfield, on December 29, 2020. Brenton was born in 1933 to the late Daniel and Ada (Mcculloch) Page in Noel Road. In 1957, he married wife Marie (Harvey) Page and later welcomed daughter Debbie. After 34 years, Brenton retired from his long career at Canada Post. Summers were enjoyed at Piggott Lake at the family cottage that he proudly built and maintained himself. He was involved in the Piggott Lake Road Associatio­n and was also a member of Emmanuel Anglican Church for many years. He loved woodworkin­g and gardening and sharing many of his creations and harvests with family and friends. He enjoyed bowling, traveling in his earlier years, finishing his daily paper and puzzles, and listening to country music. Special occasions with family were always cherished, celebratin­g each birthday and holiday. Brenton loved to spoil his daughter and grandchild­ren and was very fond of his furry companion, Tub. Brenton was predecease­d by parents, Daniel and Ada Page; wife, Marie; 10 brothers and sisters and son-inlaw, Reggie. He will be missed by daughter, Debbie Hillier; granddaugh­ters, Sarah (Darren Ide) Hillier and Crystal ( Jeff ) Boutilier; great-granddaugh­ter, Emily; brother- in-law, Robert (Ruth) Harvey, and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at the VG Site, QEII. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenton’s memory can be made to Emmanuel Anglican Church (Spryfield) or Diabetes Canada.
