While residing in Halifax she met the love of her life, Fred Nolan and spent nearly 60 years together as a devoted wife and mother. Ora loved reading, gardening, feeding the birds, spending time at the cottage and a good glass of sherry. Ora had a great passion for her granddaughters’ interests and activities and looked forward to their visits. She loved to watch them draw, dance, sing and enjoyed beach walks. Ora was a wonderful wife, mother and adoring grandmother. She is survived by her son, Thomas J. (Suzanne Ryan); granddaughters, Catherine and Shannon; sisters, Kaye Borden, Maitland; Erma Lamond, Lantz; Ruby Dimock, Ontario and Pauline Keating, Truro; along with several nieces and nephews.
