On Monday, February 22, 2021, the world unexpectedly and suddenly lost an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and human being. Words can’t even begin to express what she meant to her family and friends and the outpouring of love from everyone has been truly heart-warming. As the cliche goes, she truly was the glue that held this family together. She was firm, but fair. She wasn’t scared to say no to her children and let her husband take the blame for that no. If anyone needed anything fixed or done in or around the house we would go straight to Dad and ask where Mom was. She was a master of everything from woodworking to tole painting to baker of the world’s greatest pan rolls. The woman had the patience of a saint and her family tested that saintliness every day. She was the ever patient and loving wife of 45 years to her overly stubborn husband, Harold; mother to arguably her favorite son, Adam (Stephanie) Watts; her other arguably favorite son, Matthew (Amanda) Watts; and by default favorite daughter, Taryn Watts. She will sadly be missed by her grandchildren, Brennan, Holden, Marley, Abbie and a TBD grandchild; her sister, Wendy Parker; and the rest of the family. We pray for her happiness and peace wherever it is consciousness goes at death. The family would like to express its gratitude to all the first responders that day for everything they did. Being the times we are all currently living in there will be a small private ceremony at this time and at a later date there will be a celebration of life where there will be laughter, tears and glasses raised in her honor. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the QEII Foundation Ride for Cancer. Arrangements entrusted to T.K. Barnard Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at: tkbarnardfuneralhome.ca
