FELTHAM, Sadie June

It is with great sadness the family of Sadie June Feltham announces her passing May 9, 2021 at the age of 92 a day before her 93rd birthday. Born in Wentworth Creek, Hants Co., May 10, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Harry Leighton and Lillian (Smith). She survived by her loving sons, Bruce, Bernard, Derrick (Flo), Robert (Jessie); and her only daughter, Janet (Dean). grandchildren, Melissa (Michael), Krysta, Jeremiah, Jayleda , Jordan; and great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jacob, Carter, Carson, Janiah, Addison and Grayson; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Percy, Murray, Robie, Wiley, Charlie; sisters, Harriet, Ruby, Pauline and Marion; and her loving husband, Robert “Bob “Feltham who passed away in 1982. Sadie worked for 25 years at Park Haven nursing home and retired in 1993. She could light up a room with her infectious smile and her great sense of humour. She was a selfless woman who always put her family first and never had a complaint in the world. Anytime you walked into her kitchen she always had something cooking, a pot of tea going, and she wouldn’t take no for an answer. She will be forever loved and dearly missed. Due to COVID restrictions there will be no visitation. A private family only ceremony will take place at a later date.
