The Chronicle Herald (Provincial)
Cindy Day’s seven-day forecast
CINDY SAYS: A compact area of low pressure approaching from the southwest will bring more showers and thundershowers today; rainfall totals will range from 15 to 20 mm, with higher amounts in isolated thunderstorms. We'll start the day with a south wind that will veer to the west then to the northwest as the rainmaker heads for Cape Breton Island. Friday looks fabulous with sunshine and a dry west wind right across the province. For a change of pace, our weekend temperatures will be below seasonable values thanks to a fresh north wind. Afternoon temperatures will struggle to reach the low twenties; overnight lows will drop to the low double-digits. By Sunday evening, clouds will move in with rain expected overnight into Monday.
