Two more post-secondary institutions in Nova Scotia have implemented mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Universite Sainte-anne announced Tuesday morning that it will require students and staff to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 15.

As of that date, students and staff will be asked to show proof of vaccination before accessing any of its five campuses. Those who have not received two doses of the vaccine or who choose not to show proof of vaccination will be required to undergo a rapid test twice a week and present the test result.

Twice-weekly testing will be mandatory for those who don't wish to disclose their vaccination status, those who do not yet have full vaccine coverage or those who remain unvaccinated, NSCAD University said in a statement on its website.

Acadia and St. F.X. are the only post-secondary institutions in Nova Scotia that do not have mandatory policies.
