TRIMPER, Timothy Shawn

-

Age 50, of Torbrook, Annapolis Co., passed away from a heart attack on Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of Harold “Sherman” and Brenda (Wing) Trimper. Timothy, “a perfectionist” was a small engine mechanic by trade, “he could fix almost anything.” As a teenager he started working for his uncle, Ivan Trimper running a bulldozer land clearing. He spent several years working in Calgary as a four-wheeler and snowmobiler mechanic. Eventually he returned home to Nova Scotia, where he continued his interest as a small engine mechanic and returning to work for his uncle in the gravel pit, lastly working at the C & D Disposal and Recovery site in Torbrook. Tim loved the outdoors, spending time with his children, Noah and Alea. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, and spending time at the camp. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most recently he could be seen taking his family blackberry picking or swimming, anything to be outdoors. He liked the History Channel on TV, particularly enjoyed “American Pickers”, bringing home many treasures himself. Tim loved his flashlights, and only the brightest LED one would do. He had quite a collection of Husqvarna power saws; every one running tip top and sharp as razor. People brought their dull or broken saws to him to repair. Surviving besides his parents, are his son, Noah Trimper; daughter, Alea Trimper, both of Halifax; brothers, Robert (Candy) Trimper, Calgary; Stephen (Cassandra) Trimper, Torbrook; nieces, Jordyn and Hailea.
