MUMFORD, Ormal Horace

-

Our family would like to celebrate the life of an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Dad was the second child of four, born to Norman and Gladys (O'leary) Mumford, in Windsor NS, February 15, 1938. At age 17, he travelled to the city to start his 38 year career with DND and met the love of his life, Pauline, wife of 59 years, at Allen's Drug store on Windmill Road where she worked. All through his life he was very active and had a true passion for golf. He played at Avon Valley for over 35 years, then more recently, Montague Links where he met many great new friends. Dad also enjoyed bowling and walking daily. He could fix just about anything from cars to washing machines. He did it all. Dad had the gift of gab and loved to make everyone laugh. His family and friends brought great joy to his life and he always was extremely proud of his daughters and his two grandchildren, Michelle and Sean. Survived by his wife, Pauline(parks); daughters Sandra Mumford, Sharon Mumford, Cathy (Paul) Robichaud; grandchildren Michelle Robichaud and Sean (Josie) Robichaud; brothers Reginald (Laura) Mumford, James (Betty) Mumford and sister Emily Hines. Predeceased by parents Norman and Gladys Mumford. Dad passed on August 30th with his family by his side. A special thanks to the entire team on 7A, Palliative Care VG Site. You were all amazing.
