Shannon, Legge lead CEC to win

Matt Shannon had a big day to lead the Cobequid Cougars to a 16-0 win over the Sydney Academy Wildcats on Sunday

Matt Shannon had six tackles, an interception, sack, caught a 15-yard touchdown pass, a twopoint conversion and kicked two converts for CEC.

Liam Legge had five carries for 129 yards, including a 75-yard dash for a major. Quarterback Noah Reyes connected on five of seven pass attempts and a touchdown.

Jase Langille added five tackles while Kaiden Maclean had three tackles and an interception for the winners.
