HARDING, Annie Marguerite

Age 98, of Factorydale, Kings Co., passed away peacefully with the love of her family in Valley Hospice, Kentville, on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Annie was born in Lake Paul on August 23, 1923 to the late Edward “Dorn” and Dora (Joudrey) Lutz. She came from a large family of 10 children. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenney Macneil Harding; brothers, Arthur, in infancy, Earle, Vincent, Reginald and eldest sister, Violet. Annie is survived by her sisters, Beatrice Matthews, Joyce Gates, Mona (Reid) Gould and Cheryl (Orland) Rainforth.

She is also survived by daughters, Debbie Cummins, Ivy (Darren) Palmer; sons, Leslie, Byron, Tim (Karen) and Laurie (Michele). She will be dearly missed by her 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Annie was a devoted wife and mother to her family throughout her life. She loved outdoor activity, including her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a very talented and skilled homemaker. The oldest member of Morristown Baptist Church, she was also a lifetime member of the Women’s Missionary Society. She was an active volunteer with the Home and School, local seniors club and Baby Band. There will be no visitation or reception, at Annie’s request. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 30th in Morristown Baptist Church, Rev. Chad Clements officiating. Interment in Morristown Cemetery with family members only.
