The family of Carol Nicoll (Ingram) is saddened to announce her passing on June 20, 2022, at the age of 87 years old. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Thomas and Adelia Ella (Vincent) Ingram. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Glenn (Pamela), Tantallon, Ken (Susan), Leduc Alta.; Stephen (Tammy), Calgary Alta.; daughter, Beth (Roland) Popadynetz, St. Albert Alta.; grandchild­ren, Jaimie, Ryan, Dana (Ashley) Popadynetz, Sydnie (Farzad) Taheri, Amanda (Owen) Edmunds, Sarah, Nikita (Jody) Gylander, Cory Edmunds, Katie Yurkoski, Emily; greatgrand­children, Andrew, Cassandra, Brooklynn, Carter, Connor, Remy, Ava, Kaelyn, Holten, Rhiannon, Weston, Rumi; sister, Pauline Grace; brothers-in law, Frank Davis, Roger, Arthur; sisters-in-law, Bessie Ingram, Edythe (Wayne) Cooke, Libby, Gertie; Sheila; stepmother of her children, Marion; several nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was predecease­d by her beloved son, Gary; former spouse and father of her five children, Doug; brother, Ralph; sisters, Therese, Judy, Rita; fatherin-law, Gerald Nicoll; mother-in-law, Dorothy (Macdonnell) Nicoll; brothers-in-law, Leslie Stymest, Gerald, Francis, Bill, Ken Smallshaw; sisters-in law, Ann Smallshaw, Tina. Mom will be remembered for her love of family which truly meant the world to her. She had an extraordin­ary gift of making everyone in her presence feel like they were her only focus. She had a natural curiosity and genuine interest in everyone she encountere­d whether it was a family member, a friend, a neighbour or a complete stranger. Mom could converse with anyone on a multitude of topics from world news, music, jeopardy and of course the weather was always top of mind. It’s a Nova Scotia thing! She had a great appreciati­on for the simplest things in life. Every visit and phone call was cherished. Every card, homemade gift, craft, drawings from the little ones and her family photos were always proudly on display in her “little corner of the world”. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Chateau Mission Court and Youville Home. Your care and support for our mother will always be remembered. Prayers will be held on June 29th, at 4 p.m. in Connellymc­kinley St. Albert Funeral Home. A Private Memorial Service will be held on Thursday June 30th at 2 p.m. in Connelly-mckinley St. Albert Funeral Home.
