WEATHERBEE, Carson Murray

-

Age 76 of Beaver Bank, passed away peacefully in Ivy Meadows Continuing Care home with his good friend Ross and the great staff by his side on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Born in Springhill, on November 10, 1945, he was the son of the late Eleanor Weatherbee Craig. He loved to watch his Montreal Canadiens play while he sat on his chesterfield wearing his jersey and hat rooting them on. Carson never missed a curling competition or Olympic curling event knowing all the Canadian curlers by name. He bowled on a league at the Sackville Bowlarama for 15 years, Carson would be waiting anxiously for his ride every Tuesday. The best of all, Carson was happiest when he was going fishing with Ross or being with him on a reno job. Special thanks to the caring nurses, staff and everyone at Ivy Meadows that put a smile on Carson’s face every day, he loved you all. Survived by cousins; and family in Springhill. He will be missed by his favorite aunt, Muriel, who always called to see how he was and to send her love to him. Thanks to Donna who always took the time to go and see him and kept in touch. Carson played a big part in our family being with us to celebrate every occasion. He will be sadly missed by Ross, Sandy and all our children and grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29th, from 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 30th, at 11 a.m. from Oakridge Memorial Gardens, (Garden of Heritage). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting: www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com (Sackville Chapel)
