The 411 on the new Studio 21
Downtown’s Studio 21 Fine Art is going back to its roots. The commercial gallery (which has been hanging its hat at 1273 Hollis Street) closed it doors at the end of August to prepare for the move, and will re-open this Friday, September 14 at 5431 Doyle Street—the very street where its first location opened 35 years ago. It’ll join other locals like 31 Westgate, Duly Noted Stationery and Zwickers Gallery on the strip. Studio 21’s opening exhibit comes courtesy of the late James G. Davis, a collection of paintings called Selections from Five Decades.
