The Saint John-born host of Vice’s candidly sweary forays into food culture Dead Set on Life and It’s Suppertime! is visiting town next week, hitting up Bayers Lake’s finest hangout ( Chapters, duh) as part of a crosscountry tour supporting his brand-new book.
Released last month, Matty Matheson: A Cookbook— lauded by the New York Times as one of the season’s best cookbooks—explores dishes and meals that’ve had an impact on the chef, known for his work at Toronto’s Parts & Labour and Maker Pizza. It’s basically him in recipe form. Meet the man, hear him read and maybe even get a selfie to share on social Monday November 26 in-store at 188 Chain Lake Drive (7pm, free).
