The Saint John-born host of Vice’s can­didly sweary for­ays into food cul­ture Dead Set on Life and It’s Sup­per­time! is vis­it­ing town next week, hit­ting up Bay­ers Lake’s finest hang­out ( Chap­ters, duh) as part of a crosscoun­try tour sup­port­ing his brand-new book.

Re­leased last month, Matty Math­e­son: A Cook­book— lauded by the New York Times as one of the sea­son’s best cook­books—ex­plores dishes and meals that’ve had an im­pact on the chef, known for his work at Toronto’s Parts & Labour and Maker Pizza.
