Vaisakhi parade Seventh annual parade marks the Sikh new year. Starts at noon at Kelowna Sikh Temple, 1111 Rutland Rd. N. Spring book sale Friends of the Library annual sale expands to two days — Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the CNC, 4105 Gordon Dr., in the lobby near the doors to the Mission library branch. Funds raised support year-round baby, children’s and teens’ programming, summer reading club, guest speakers and author events at local branches. Pickleball Paddles provided.
