• The Emmanuel Church at 2600 Herbert Rd. is hosting a Zumba event from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the gymnasium. Internatio­nal salsa jammer Shadia Serrano will be coming to West Kelowna to do the Master Class fundraiser. Admission is $15. Money raised goes to the Emmanuel Church Syrian Refugee sponsorshi­p fund to help settle a Syrian widow with six children in West Kelowna. • Go Fish at Shannon Lake Regional Park. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The pond will be stocked with trout, ready and waiting to be caught. Freshwater Fisheries Society and volunteers from the Peachland Sportsmen’s Associatio­n will be on hand to help new fishers. This program is for children 15 and under, with a one fish per day limit. No fishing license is required for B.C. children 15 and under. A limited number of rods, reels and bait will be available each weekend for youngsters to use.
