- BARB AGUIAR

West Kelowna’s A View to Remember Bed and Breakfast has received gold level certi cation from Green Tourism, the world’s largest and most credible sustainable tourism certi cation program.

A View to Remember was the first bed and breakfast to be Green Tourism certi ed. Their initial rating was silver, giving them the opportunity to establish a blueprint of what could be done to improve their commitment to providing the best value and the best stay, while striving to maintain the best environmental practices.

Beginning in the United Kingdom in 1997 as one of the rst sustainable tourism certi cation programs in the world, Green Tourism has remained one of the most sought-after ecolabels and certi cation programs in the world

“We are thrilled to receive gold level certi cation,” said owners Sue and Dann Willis. “This process acknowledges our business ethic of the past 16 years but also provides us with the tools to improve our best green business practises.”

A View to Remember Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Okanagan Wine Country serving guests from around the world since 1982.
