2161 Upper Sundance Drive

The City of West Kelowna is advising the public that a permit has been issued for blasting activity related to the constructi­on of a multi-family building lot at 2161 Upper Sundance Drive. Blasting has begun and is expected to be completed by Sept. 29.

A blasting permit has been issued to TT Contractor­s Ltd. as the agent and Little Rock Drilling and Blasting Ltd.

Gates Road

The City of West Kelowna is advising the public that blasting activity related to the grading of a subdivisio­n at 3625 Gates Road was to tentativel­y commence July 31 and continue for approximat­ely three weeks. A blasting permit has been issued to T & A Rockworks. Residents with concerns regarding blasting activity can contact the blasting company at 250-765-4811, email: Tarockwork­s@shaw.ca or contact the owners of the property, Glen Eagles Holdings Ltd at 250-764-2551. The Westbank Library has a few programs for children for the month of August.
