Blasting Activity
2161 Upper Sundance Drive
The City of West Kelowna is advising the public that a permit has been issued for blasting activity related to the construction of a multi-family building lot at 2161 Upper Sundance Drive. Blasting has begun and is expected to be completed by Sept. 29.
A blasting permit has been issued to TT Contractors Ltd. as the agent and Little Rock Drilling and Blasting Ltd.

Gates Road
The City of West Kelowna is advising the public that blasting activity related to the grading of a subdivision at 3625 Gates Road was to tentatively commence July 31 and continue for approximately three weeks. A blasting permit has been issued to T & A Rockworks. Residents with concerns regarding blasting activity can contact the blasting company at 250-765-4811, email: Tarockworks@shaw.ca or contact the owners of the property, Glen Eagles Holdings Ltd at 250-764-2551. The Westbank Library has a few programs for children for the month of August.
Programs for Children: Summer Reading Club
Registration is still open and ongoing throughout the summer. Ages 6-12 (5 year olds who have completed kindergarten may also register). We also have a special summer reading club for both preschoolers and teens.
