See Kelowna
Linda Digby, executive director with Kelowna Museums Society, looks over items from a shopping cart that’s part of the SEE: kelowna exhibit, which opened at the Okanagan Heritage Museum last week. Kelowna Museums partnered with Metro Community to create SEE: kelowna, an installation which people express their personal view of homelessness. Metro offered street community friends disposable cameras, creative input and a place to record their stories.The opening celebration event included remarks from the organizers and some of the artists, followed by an opportunity to view the installation.
