PM is national embarrassment
Dear editor: As a Canadian born son and grandson of penniless refugees who were welcomed to Canada in 1923, having fled their once prosperous community in South Russia (now Ukraine), I have very high regard and respect for the office of prime minister of Canada.
However, the current boy-wonder occupant of that esteemed office is the greatest embarrassment to many of us, who are otherwise loyal Canadians. The arrogance and hubris of this man continues to grow with every pronouncement that issues from his pretty mouth.
Trudeau’s expensive and utterly useless holiday trip to India is the greatest embarrassment that could ever have been perpetrated on our wonderful country.
And, not only has he embarrassed we Canadians, he has affronted his Indian hosts by his inept meddling in their very sensitive internal affairs by bringing with him one of his cabinet, an avowed Khalistani. And, on top of that, he refused to see Capt. Amarinder Singh, the current chief minister of Punjab and who is seeking a peaceful rapprochement with the radical Khalistanis of the Punjab.
I would like to quote here a portion of a respected Indian journalist, Ajit Datta’s Feb. 18 article titled “India’s message to Canadian PM Trudeau is Loud and Clear” as follows:
“Justin Trudeau is a mascot of everything that is wrong with the world today. From being at the forefront of encouraging every degeneracy to welcoming radicalism into his homeland, from cheap gimmicks of tokenism to attempts at creating a culture of politically-correct absurdities, the stink of his leftist hypocrisy wafts far and wide. As a citizen of India, I could not care less if the elected leader of Canada seeks to drive his nation to the dumps. But, where it has an adverse effect on my country is where I choose to draw the line.”
(Datta’s complete article can be read at: https://rightlog.in/2018/02/trudeau-indiakhalistanis-01/)
Trudeau has certainly left a worldwide indication of his true self of late. Fortunately for us, we will have the opportunity to send Trudeau packing at the next election, come mid-2019. But, on this trip, he will not be representing Canada, nor will we be paying his inordinate expenses nor paying for his numerous silk pyjamas.
