Police looking for motorhome driver

A motorhome was consumed by fire near Enderby Tuesday evening, and police are still searching for the driver.

Vernon RCMP were called to a single-vehicle collision on the north side of Hidden Lake just before 7 p.m.

A motorhome was destroyed by a fire after colliding with a tree.

“An RCMP collision analyst has attended the scene to conduct further investigation into the cause of the collision,” said Const. Kelly Brett.

A police dog was called to the scene to search the area, but the sole occupant of the vehicle was not found.

“The North Okanagan RCMP is working closely with the family of the registered owner of the motorhome,” said Brett.

The investigation is ongoing.
