Thank you Stephen Fuhr

Dear editor: I would like people to know about the prompt help and assistance I received from the office of Stephen Fuhr, member of Parliament for Kelowna-Lake Country.

I was having great difficulty getting my PAL (Possession/ Acquisition Licence) for firearms renewed. What should have been a routine process had dragged on for three months and the expiry date was well passed.

I could not satisfactorily discover what was causing this unnecessary delay, even though I contacted them several times.

As a last resort I visited Fuhr’s office. His helpful and efficient staff listened to my story and assured me they would investigate my situation promptly. Within a week, they expedited the problem and today informed me my licence renewal had been approved and my licence was on its way.

I’m not a Liberal party supporter, but I admire and appreciate Fuhr and his staff for the good work they do for all Kelowna-Lake Country constituents.
