Colour Tongues Perform as part of their Sinking Ships Western Canada tour, with Glass Arrows to open, at Milkcrate Records, 527 Lawrence Ave. Time: 7 p.m. Musical theatre Enjoy an evening of entertainment featuring Megan Edwards, Emily Dehod and Tiernan La-Fleur Johnson performing Broadway show tunes past and present. It’s a fundraiser to help cover their costs of going to theatre programs across the country. Concert takes place at 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael and All Angels Cathedral, 608 Sutherland Ave. in Kelowna. Honeymoon Suite Popular Canadian rock band from the 1980s headlines an outdoor concert at Sunset Ranch Golf Course. Gates open at 5 p.m. Appaloosa and the Younguns will also perform. Time: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Mamas Gone Country Country music charity concert to benefit Mamas for Mamas at the OK Corral Cabaret. Mamas Gone Country features Aaron Pritchett, Ben Klick and Casey Clarke. Sunshine Festival Vernon's summer kick-off party and the North Okanagan's largest street fair and sidewalk sale, the Sunshine Festival takes place along 30th Avenue. Live entertainment, food, shopping and activities for children. There are 150 vendors including 20 food trucks, two live stages and a beer garden.
