Hunting show coming up in Penticton

The Okanagan Fall Hunting and Outdoor Show will take place Aug. 10-12 at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.

The latest ATVs and Side by Sides from Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Textron (Arctic Cat) Yamaha and Kubota will be on display.

Honda, Toyota and Dodge Ram will be there to offer lots of hauler options.

Major hunting retailers will be in attendance with a large selection of the newest gear, including firearms, scopes, rangefinders, trail cams and other accessories

If a new compound bow, long bow or crossbow has caught your eye, you can try them out at the archery range.

If you want to become a better hunter and learn the tricks of the trade, there will be seminars from Bushnell’s Trigger Effects Dean Trumbley, BC Fishn’s Danny Coyne and Sight, Sound and Scent seminars by Johnny MacDowell.

The BC Wildlife Federation, Ducks Unlimited, The Wild Sheep Foundation, Safari Club Canada and Canadian Wild Turkey Federation will all be on site.

Show times are: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10 and Saturday, Aug. 11; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 12.
