Here is my 11th annual holiday guide for the gamer in your life. This year, like any other, there’s a lot of exciting titles available. Family Friendly Titles Spyro The Dragon Trilogy (Xbox One,PS4) Pros: All three classic games upscaled in HD, classic platformin­g at its best, game still holds up all these years later, solid soundtrack, updated control schemes. Cons: None.

Lego DC Super Villains (Xbox One,PS4)

Pros: Huge roster of characters, classic Lego fun for the entire family, two-player fun, solid voice acting and soundtrack, great level design, puzzle design easy enough for even young players to solve, fun combat.

Cons: None

Lego Harry Potter Collection (Xbox One,PS4,)

Pros: Complete story of all the movies, large amount of characters to choose from, Fun boss battles, two-player fun, great for the entire family, fun combat, great value for the money.

Cons: None. Forza Horizon 4 (Xbox One,PC) Pros: Huge list of cars to drive and customize, weather system creates a dynamic experience, with different seasons new options open up, giant map to explore.

Marvel’s Spiderman (PS4)

Pros: Fantastic graphics, fluid movement around the city, jaw dropping cinematic, fighting mechanics create amazing battles each time, great boss battles, many hours of gameplay.

Cons: None

Pros: Great combat engine, huge map, epic story, sea battles, battling mythical creatures is a blast, different class of weapons, solid stealth mechanics, customizat­ion from armour to your ship.

Cons: None.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4,Xbox One)

Pros: Huge map to explore, nice assortment of weapons, ability to customize your character, an impressive story and side missions, great cast of characters and voice acting, large list of animals to hunt and fish, hidden side missions.

Cons: Multiplaye­r is delayed.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 (PS4,Xbox One)

Pros: Zombies are back, nice assortment of maps, new multiplaye­r modes, large amount customizat­ion options, all the time was spent on multiplaye­r modes, endless replay value with friends online.

Cons: None

Shadow of The Tomb Raider (PS4,Xbox One)

Pros: Lara, like you’ve never seen her before, epic puzzles, tons of tombs to explore and experience, lots of collectibl­es, lots of different abilities to unlock and level up, side missions galore. Cons: None.

Guinness Book of World Records Gaming Edition 2019

Pros: Tons of different records all related to video games, great coloured pictures on each page, perfect for the gamer that has everything.

Cons: None
