KEEPING WARM WHILE THEY WAIT
Stephanie Odermatt of Salmon Arm and Andy Duffy of Vernon arrived early and well prepared for their wait to buy tickets to the 59th annual Vernon Winter Carnival Suds & Cider night, which is usually the first event of the carnival to sell out each year. More than 50 people lined up in the cold to ensure they were able to buy their tickets. The carnival runs Feb. 1-10.
