Not so long ago, in a courthouse not so far away . . .
Grade 7 student Mackenzie Ploner sat in the judge’s chair during the annual Law Day at the Penticton courthouse on Friday. The students ran a mock trial of “Star Wars” character Luke Skywalker. The annual event is an effort to educate young people about the inner workings of the Canadian court system.
