Vernon company expands into Salmon Arm

A Vernon marketing agency has acquired a Salmon Arm design and website company.

Sproing Creative Ltd. is taking over Perimeter Design and will open its first satellite office on Friday in the North Okanagan community.

“We looked at the success of Salmon Arm’s economic diversification, its growing tech sector, and we wanted to be a part of it,” Heath Fletcher, chief marketing officer of Sproing Creative, said in a release.

Perimeter Design has done business in Salmon Arm for almost 20 years. Salmon Arm has more than 130 high-tech businesses employing more than 1,000 people, Statistics Canada says.

Sproing Creative was named Vernon’s Employer of the Year in a recent business awards competition.
