Search and Rescue work in Fintry

Volunteers with Central Okanagan Search and Rescue found and helped a person in medical distress on Tuesday night. Eighteen of the group’s members responded around 8 p.m. to find a person missing in the Fintry area at the northwest side of Okanagan Lake. The person was located about midnight and transferred to the care of paramedics.
