Peachland has an additional $1.65 million to spend
Peachland council will begin deciding next week how to spend $1.65 million it has received from the provincial government.
The money is intended to offset revenue losses and increased costs associated with the ongoing pandemic.
Similar “Safe Restart” grants have been provided to all B.C. communities.
Town staff recommend $105,000 be put toward budget over-runs associated with the new water treatment plant, scheduled to become operational within the next two months.
