Vernon credit union, staff continue talks

Mediated talks continue in the labour dispute between Vernon-based Vantage One Credit Union and its unionized employees.

In a bulletin to members, bargaining committee members with MoveUP said they met with a mediator and the company on Thursday and have another session scheduled this Wednesday.

“During mediation, the union made it clear to the mediator that the bargaining unit work proposal, as well as wages, were top priority for our members,” the bulletin said.
