A story walk in the park

The afternoon January sun shines on signs along a path in the Westbank Town Centre Park bearing the story I Know Here, written by Laurel Croza and illustrated by Matt James, as part of the Central Okanagan Early Years Partnership’s second Story Walk, just in time for Family Literacy Week, Jan. 24-31. As part of Story Walk, 11 children’s books are displayed with permission from their authors and publishers in parks from the Westside to Lake Country. The books’ pages are staked around the parks for self-guided reading tours. The stories will be in place until Monday. For a complete listing of Story Walk stories and parks, go online to childhoodcp/story-walks/jan2021.
