New to coding club

Intro to Coding Club: First Timers’ Class is available online from 5 to 5:30 p.m. through the Okanagan Regional Library. Kids eight to 12 years old can take in this 30-minute meeting and be introduced to the development platforms and familiarize themselves with the coding tools. Video editing

Okanagan Regional Library offers Intro to Video Editing from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. In this free online one-hour program, library staff will offer an introduction to video editing using the free video editor included with Windows 10. This program is designed to give participants a basic understanding of video editing concepts such as how to insert, cut, combine and rotate clips as well as adding music and text and then finishing with exporting their movie. Scotch tasting

Taste great Scotch from around the world in the comfort of your own home at West Kelowna Daybreak Rotary’s Virtual Scotch Tasting fundraising event from 7 to 9 p.m. Participants can pick up their Scotch tastings at Big Bear Innovation Centre or have them delivered to their door by a Rotary volunteer. The fundraiser will support YMCA of Okanagan Beyond the Bell program at George Pringle Elementary School. There will also be a silent auction open from 9 a.m. Saturday to 9 p.m.,
