VantageOne deal ratified

Workers at VantageOne Credit Union branches in Vernon have ratified a new contract.

The vote on Wednesday night was unanimous.

The new four-year deal is retroactive to Dec. 1, 2019. It includes wage increase of 2%, 2.25%, 2.5% and 2.75%, according to information on the MoveUP union website.

Workers went on strike in early December, but came back to work for the Christmas season. Negotiations resumed this month with the help of a mediator.
