NDP poised to take advantage of opportunity

Six years ago, the federal NDP was poised to form the next government, and blew it.

The next election, they will be granted a rare second chance, and an incredible opportunity to realize two of their major policy objectives: Get rid of that unelected, un-democratic and dysfunctional Senate, and give us what we desperately have been wanting for a very long time – a proportional ballot.

Today’s Senators are randomly appointed people, not seasoned, experienced politicians, while PR provides balance and stability, by uniting our diverse and complex multi-cultural society.

PR is also the only electoral system that satisfies our Charter rights to have governments that represents everybody fairly.

It will also transform Canada into a strong and cohesive socio-economic unit, and be an incredible entry in our history books.

Are they going to blow it again?
