City wants more food trucks

Four new locations in Kelowna are being opened up to food trucks this year.

The City of Kelowna is taking bids for oneyear licences for one truck each at Knox Mountain Park, the Okanagan Rail Trail, Ben Lee Park and Rotary Beach.

A two-year-licence is awarded for City Park, which is already a designated food truck location.

Bids are accepted until Feb. 23 at kelowna.ca. Go to Business Services-Business with the City-Concession and vendor opportunit­ies.

Trucks will be permitted to operate from May through September.
