More work set for Glenmore Recreation Park

Construction will begin Tuesday on the latest upgrades and additions to Glenmore Recreation Park.

A parking lot and sidewalk will be built and the entrance upgraded.

The dog park will be closed while the work is underway.

The City of Kelowna says this is part of Phase 3 of work at the park, which it expects to open in the spring.

Playing fields were built last year and are expected to be ready for play and bookings this year.

Future additions are hoped to include a playground, trails and community garden.
