Colourful splash park opening this summer in Peachland

A waterfront “splash park” in Peachland should open on Canada Day, town councillors heard this week.

The play area is being constructed north of Heritage Park in downtown Peachland.

It will have 14 spray nozzles, activated only when people are present to maximize water conservation.

The feature will also be illuminated to create “inspiring water and light shows at night,” according to a town news release.
