Rural writers are invited to get involved in the Page

Turner Awards 2021.

Organizers of the Page

Turner Awards, sponsored by ProWritingAid, believe people who live a quiet rural life may be talented writers with undiscovered literary gems.

It may be countryside guide about caring for tropical orchids, a story about renovating a rural property, a memoir about a family drama played out on the rural landscape, a gasp-inducing thriller, or the next-big-thing comedy involving heroic country characters.

The stories get turned over to a panel of literary agents, publishers and film producers.

Past contests have seen three writers win literary representation, six earn a writing mentorship, five writers winning a publishing contract and 13 independent authors winning an audiobook production.

Submissions for the international competition close May 31. Find out more at pageturnerawards.com.
