Riders ink 1 ex-NFL QB, release another one

The Saskatchew­an Roughrider­s signed American quarterbac­k Luke Falk on Friday.

The six-foot-four, 215-pound Falk spent two seasons in the NFL. He appeared in three games, two as a starter, for the New York Jets in 2019.

Falk was selected in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans and also spent time with the Miami Dolphins. The Riders also released American quarterbac­k Justice Hansen.

— The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed defensive tackle Ricky Walker and defensive back Christian Angulo.

The six-foot-two, 295-pound Walker attended NFL training camps with Dallas (2019) and Cleveland (2020) while also spending time in the XFL with Tampa.

Angulo, six-foot-two, 190-pound defensive back, signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent last year but was released during training camp.
