TEA IN THE AFTERNOON
Madeleine Hoffman works on keeping her pinkie in the air as she sips lemonade from a tea cup at the Peachland Little Schoolhouse’s Afternoon Cream Tea Sunday with her dad, Orest. The Peachland Little Schoolhouse Society hosted the specialty tea from the Devon and Cornwall regions, which included scones, whipped cream and jam. The afternoon tea proved so popular that some guests had to be turned away when organizers ran out of scones. The society is planning another tea in August which will take reservations to better manage demand.
