Grizzli Winery announces lineup for summer music series

West Kelowna’s Grizzli Winery has announced the lineup for a summer music series with concerts taking place Fridays from May 27 to Sept. 2.

Tickets are $30 a show or $299 for a two-person pass to all seven shows.

Tickets are available at grizzliwin­ery.com/events.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

The lineup:

May 27 — Kinga Trio – Jazz and pop chanteuse Kinga, immersed herself in classical and contempora­ry music from a young age. Kinga has spread her vocal talents throughout Canada, including a Grammy nomination for her recently released jazz album, “Forever in My Heart.”

June 10 — Rumour Mill. An indie-folk duo headed by multiinstr­umentalist­s, Anna Katerina and Aline Daigle from Nelson join us to bring a lush topography of violin, harmonies, keys, guitar and mandolin.

June 24 — Major Mambo. Made up of Okanagan locals, Major Mambo performs all the classic hits from Latin America to New York. Current members, Trevor Salloum, Tricia Dalgleish, Maggie Penzo Cotton, Bob Rogers and

Stephen Buck.

July 15 — Harshmello­ws. The Harshmello­ws are a classic rock band from the beautiful Okanagan in the heart of British Columbia. The Harshmello­ws play a wide variety of music from the 1960s to the present.

July 29 — Tanner Dawson. Dawson is a Canadian Country Music Artist born in raised in small town Chase, B.C. His traditiona­l country vocal is influenced by rock, blues, funk, and ’90s country.

Aug 12 — Two Crows for Comfort. Two Crows for Comfort started off at the occasional open mic and have grown into a performing duo that has travelled throughout Canada, opening for the likes of Ani DiFranco and more.

Sept 2 — Friends of the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra. Be escorted away by the elegance of string classics from the likes of Bach and Mozart.

“We are incredibly excited to have such a unique variety of talented musicians performing at Grizzli Winery this year. The opportunit­y to have our stunning facility full of guests enjoying live music unhindered after the past two years of the pandemic is such a blessing,” said Tayla Haswell, events co-ordinator at Grizzli Winery.
