OUR STORY

Founded in 2002, Ballet Kelowna is the sole professional dance company in B.C.’s Interior. The organization is committed to its role as a leader in the region through encouraging, promoting, and developing Canadian dancers and choreographers. The Company performs annually for more than 12,000 audience members in Kelowna and on tour, and provides unique dance training opportunities and outreach programs.

Ballet Kelowna envisions a place where the performance and practice of dance is fundamental to our Canadian identity. We strive to create a nurturing environment in which artists and all those engaged with the Company realize the fullest extent of their talents and potential. In essence, our purpose is to give full expression to Canada’s creative spirit.

YOUR LEGACY

Your legacy gift will help Ballet Kelowna bring compelling and inspiring dance to local, national, and international audiences.

You can designate a specific amount of cash, a piece of property, a percentage or portion of your estate, or you can leave the remainder after loved ones, expenses, and taxes have been taken care of. Publicly traded securities – shares, bonds, mutual funds – can also be designated as your gifts and are exempt from capital gains tax when bequeathed to Ballet Kelowna.
