Leaving a gift in your will
There are countless reasons why the members of our Monthly Giving Program first choose to join. For some, it’s to make a commitment to the future of Variety while for others, it’s to join a group that has a massive collective impact. For Janet Lancey, her inspiration came from her grandson.

Ever since this impactful moment, Janet has been a monthly donor. Her passion for helping children has motivated over two decades of donating.
When Janet’s husband passed away three years ago, she made the choice to make Variety a part of her legacy. She knew she wanted to ensure her family was left with a personal gift to reflect their loving relationships but she also knew she wanted to make a lifetime of a difference for children all over BC.
