In the current economic landscape of soaring food prices and unattainable housing, our services are becoming increasingly vital in providing a safety net for those who are most vulnerable.

Your support could help someone like Melody and her family. After Melody’s daughter experienced a brain injury at the age of 2, their entire lives were turned upside down. As a result, Melody was forced to close her business to become her daughter’s full-time caregiver and relocate the family closer to health care services. This left the family financially devastated and seeking social support.

After utilizing our hamper services for 10 months Melody found work with a schedule opposite of her husband’s.

Now that the family is in a stable situation, they no longer need food assistance. COFB proudly ensures that people have access to food so that they don’t have to choose between paying utilities or putting food on the table.

Each month we now serve an average of 6,750 individuals, which is a 50% increase in clients compared to pre-pandemic times. Our reach extends beyond this thanks to the help of our partner agencies as we work diligently together to ensure all in our community are nourished. However, none of what we do would be possible without financial support from donors in our community.
