Harassment charged laid

The Daily Press (Timmins) - - NEWS -

The Timmins Police Service was called to the scene of an incident alleging criminal harassment early Wednesday morning at a west end trailer park in Timmins.

Upon arrival, at the scene, responding Timmins Police Service officers gathered sufficient details from residents to form grounds to complete an arrest of a suspect. The suspect had been identified as a resident of the park with previous interactions with residents. When located, the suspect refused to surrender to police.

This made it necessary for the Timmins Police Service, acting in the best interests of the residents, to deploy its Emergency Response Team to affect an arrest warrant regarding the suspect.

Lester Cudmore, 43, of Timmins has been arrested and charged with Criminal Harassment and Breach of Recognizance.

The suspect remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for Thursday morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.
