After Reclaiming Power and Place: The Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls was published in 2019, New Harlem Production­s curated 12 responses to the report from artists working in various media. These responses create Embodying Power and Place, presented by Nightwood Theatre and Native Earth Performing Arts. The work is described as “weav[ing] together visceral offerings of song, poetry, dance and theatrical works by such incredible creators.”
