Rewriting Distance

Developed by Lin Snelling and Guy Cools, Rewriting Distance has been travelling since 2010. Described as an interdisciplinary practice, the event probes storytelling through movement, spoken word and writing – and it’s never the same. “It keeps deconstructing itself,” says Snelling. “I am continually surprised at my lack of control in the whole matter. I am frustrated, elated and disturbed by how we travel through it.” This year’s show, presented by Mocean Dance, features Snelling, Cools, Jacinte Armstrong, Doug Cameron, Susanne Chui and Sara Coffin.
